The findings wey dem do, show say the areas wey dey affected na the hub of rice production and 90 per cent of rice farms wey dey that location for the two sides of the river Benue dey destroyed by flood.
The affected local government areas na Karim Lamido, Ardo Kola, Lau, Gassol and Ibbi.

One farmer for Kwatan Nanido, Adamu Saidu, tell Daily Trust say hin planted seven bags of rice seed and e bin dey expect to harvest more than 1,000 of paddy rice but more than 85 per cent of hin farm dey destroyed by flood.
Another farmer, Rita John, yarn say she collect loan of N400,000 from one of the rice processing companies to take plant rice and hope say she go pay with paddy rice when e reach time to harvest but her hope of paying the loan don lost because of the flood.
She dey beg the federal and Taraba State governments make dem help farmers wey the flood affect for the state.
