INEC dey battle 600 court cases over candidates nomination

Di Chairman of di Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, on Monday in Abuja dey lament over 600 court cases wen dey face nomination of candidates for di coming 2023 general elections.

Hin tok say a situation whereby political party served 70 court summon to di electoral body in one day on di same matter na wetin no good at all at all.

Despite di plenty court cases, Yakubu don assure say INEC go obey and abide by all valid court orders at all times.

Hin assure say di planned 2023 general elections go dey free and fair.

Yakubu don beg di Judiciary to dey neutral along with INEC
