Tinubu’s victory: Peter Obi dey ask for non-existent documents against president – INEC

Some documents requested by di presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, for di 2023 election, Mr Peter Obi to present as exhibits for di Presidential Election Tribunal dey non-existent.

INEC make di declaration during di Tribunal sitting for Abuja on Tuesday.

Obi and di Labour Party (LP) dey challenge Feb. 25 election of President Bola Tinubu before di court in petition wey dey marked CA/PEPC/03/2023.

Respondents for di petition na INEC, President Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima and dia All Progressives Congress (APC).

Giving evidence before di court, Mr Lawrence Bayode, Deputy Director, ICT at INEC, tell di court say out of di five documents wey Obi asked for; two dey non-existent, while one na work in progress.

One of Obi witnesses, Ms Loretta Ogah, an ICT cloud engineer, tok say she contest di election into di House of Representatives on di platform of Labour Party for Cross River but lose di election.

Ogah bin dey cross-examined by Mr Wole Olanipakun (SAN), counsel for Tinubu and Shettima.

She tell court say she sue INEC after her loss because the electoral umpire no list her name on di portal because of network failure.

Also cross-examined by Mr Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), counsel for APC, Ogah tell court say glitches no happen for INEC portal on Feb. 25.

Also, she tok say she no know INEC password protocol as she no be INEC employee.

Di court wey dey handled by Justice Haruna Tsammani, adjourn further hearing to Wednesday, NAN reports.
