WAEC withhold 413 candidates results
Di West African Examinations Council WAEC don announce di result of di West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, for Private Candidates, 2023–First Series.
According to di Head of di National Office WAEC, Nigeria Patrick E. Areghan, of di total number of Eight Thousand, Three Hundred And Forty-Eight, 8,348 candidates wey sit for examination, Four Thousand, One Hundred And Sixty-One, 4,161 na males while Four Thousand, One Hundred And Eight-Seven (4,187) na females, representing 49.84% and 50.16%, respectively.

Also, di results of Four Hundred And Thirteen 413 WAEC candidates, representing 4.95% of di total number of candidates wey sit for di examination, dey withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.
As di matter be now, di cases dey undergo investigation. And reports of di investigations go dey presented to di appropriate Committee of di Council for determination in due course.”
