Tobi Amusan lose di100m hurdles world title to Jamaica Williams

Defending champion Tobi Amusan apologize to her fans after she lose di world women’s 100m hurdles crown to Jamaica’s Danielle Williams on Thursday. Dis na shock win for di World Athletics Championships for Budapest, Hungary.

Williams, wey bin won for Beijing in 2015, time 12.43 seconds to edge out Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico (12.44sec) with Kendra Harrison of diUnited States taking bronze (12.46).

Amusan and 2019 winner Nia Ali bin no dey in hunt, dem finish with sixth and last positions, respectively.

Speaking with journalists after di race, Amusan yarn say she go come back stronger next year.

She yarn say di “ journey before she enter final” no be small thing despite all di things wey she go through in di last couple of weeks.

However, Amusan still say big thank you to pipo wey dey always support her through di ups and downs. Also, she tell dem sorry as e be say dis time she fall dia hand. But she make dem understand say she go come back stronger definitely.
