The Federal Government through the National Universities Commission don call Nigerians wey qualify say make dem apply for di Chevening scholarships, an initiative of the government of the United Kingdom.

Na because of this  strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities na hin make dem advise qualified Nigerians.

Dem carry dis tok of the scholarships for one letter wey dey signed by the Deputy Executive Secretary, Administration of the NUC, Chris Maiyaki, all vice-chancellors.

The commission tok say, “The National Universities Commission dey in receipt of the letter from the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, Ref. TSW/BRI/V/T and di date na 12 August 2022, with the attached Call Letter from the British High Commission Abuja with di date wey be 3rd August 2022,for di matter.
