Osodeke – We don ready to end di ASUU strike.

President, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, don tok say di union dey ready and dem wan end di seven-month old strike.

But Osodeke say e fit only happen if dem make better agreement with di Federal Government. hin give assurance for Abuja, yesterday, for National Town Hall Meeting  on Tertiary Education wey dem tag: ‘The Locked Gates of our Citadels -A National Emergency.’

Di union go on industrial action for February 14, e don make am dey over seven months since public universities across the country close down.

E no tey wey Federal Government sue ASUU for di industrial court as dem try to end di strike. Osodeke say for all di issues, dem don give di government minimum wey dem fit accept, but FG never tok or do anything for di matter of renewal for di issue allowance and other matter wey dem don discussed.
